Representation analysis
The wolf of wall street:
In this movie the men (in the wall-street) are represented as greedy to keep on making money an have fast cars and big houses also have good looking women the american dream. Leonardo Dicaprio is suggested to have wealth however greed takes the best of the character he is playing a character who commits different types of fraud an money laundering as it has now got the best of him. furthermore, because of his rise in wealth his path ways to drugs has an addiction this suggest that 1980s had a high demand for the use of drugs. In the wolf of wall street trailer there is a conversation between Dicaprio and Matthew Mcconaughey at around 0:30 it was information conveying no one knows about the stocks its all just a gamble in there line of business (the stock market).
secondly, black people have no representation in the trailer there is no non-white people this could suggest the racism in the 1980 in the wall street as it was still around during this time however this could also suggest there was no dream for black people an did not have the right mind set.

NCIS-POST 2
narritive:
its shown very boldly in the trailer as you can see it is about a man who is a very famous boxer Billy Hope the world lightweight champion hes sadly lost his wife and then also lost his daughter because he then has to fight again an get back what was his and ends meet.
characters:
this movie contains drama but with characters from thrillers and well known artist e.g for this 50 cent he is in the movie as the man in the tuxes always well dressed and the business type in the film. he is the one who sets the fights and gets the title back such as it being said in the trailer to billy hope the broken boxer who makes this a very good thriller and action packed with his boxing determination from his weak loved wife who dies because she plays a vulnerable role of the wife wanting the boxer to stop but then dying stopping him from fighting.
iconography:
the image shown is very violent being a movie about boxing. furthermore boxing is a very well known sport making this film sporty. the boxer also plays a role of the emotional broken dad who has lost his daughter and sent to a care home straight after his wife death because of drinking and under her daughters custody.
settings:
it is based in america with a start of the high life to the low life showing the way he ends up living from a nice home to nothing. however, works his way back up to this big fight. very dark to make it a very emotional view to the film.
NCIS-POST 1
genre:
sci-fi,thriller
narrative
The story board a man who is wanted but is hiding as seen from the trailer but the the cars shows that its not from our time but from the future. but this film has sings of romance but not in a romantic way because he is in the middle of the pilers as she gets hit by the beam from a different dimension.
characters:
Some are much familiar from the thriller genre making it very clear it will have a thriller base to it but also has the love aspect in it with the use of the weak and vulnerable because she was made in a lab so she is like an alien. This film is a typical thriller but made into the future.
iconography:
in the film there is lots of thriller aspect but with scifi in it like shown in the chase with the flying car and the police because he is wanted but a young women falls through because she fell through the sky into the top of his car. lots of violence like in a thriller and good vs evil.
settings:
its shown through the whole trailer a different era to the earth at its time its looks to have new state of the art weapons from the future making this a sci-fi and also includes flying cars which something that is being worked at the moment.

LIAR
Language:
From the language use in the film poster
such as the headline say "inner city vs outer city". Outer space
shows elements of sci-fi from use of this shows there will be war between
the earth an aliens.
institution:
From the poster as you can see that there
is also a feature of the film Shaun of the dead this movie was also under the
same genre as this film which is a sci-fi comedy. This film an the the previous one also (Shaun of the dead) produced by the same productions which was
Nira Park. The movie was distributed by the optimum releasing. The film is set on a South London block of flats and, with some themes,
the film is based around the broncos of south London which focus on a teenage “street gang” who have to defend themselves from predatory of out off space invaders.
Audience:
From the poster it looks like this film is for an audience who would actually understand the signification of the film (the plot). Which shows audience should be mature from the certificate age 15 an up of both gender further more mature being said the fact off the content in the film in drug use, adult humor (shown in the movie an having comedienne Nick frost playing as Ron the local drug dealer who live in the penthouse an knows everyone) an also strong language finally also strong violence.
This film looks like it should be targeted to a younger audience like teenagers an men under the age of 25 who enjoy alien invasions.
Representation:
From the poster of the film (of the characters) shows visual aspects to the Endurance and heroic as you most likely guest the more bigger the hero would be in the front being the young teenage/young man in the snap back and green jacket with his arms in a stance which shows sings of leadership towards the other characters. However least meaning your most likely going to be in the back of the picture showing sings of being more vulnerable an less heroic. Finally blue flashing meteoroids plummeting towards planet Earth which shows sings of extraterrestrial aspects in the film.
